30 grams Levamisole HCl – Fish wormer concentrate – Treats up to 7,500 litres
Levamisole HCl – Fish wormer concentrate 30 grams with measuring spoon – Treats up to 7,500 litres
I use a day or two after new fish are settled, monthly for new or imported fish species and every 3 months for other fish
The dosage I recommend is one or two 0.5g scoops (provided) for every 125 litres of aquarium water including any canister filter. Remove any carbon or filter material that may strip the medication from your water. Lights can stay on. Add the dissolvable powder straight to your water.
A great way to calculate your water volume is this link https://www.firsttankguide.net/calculator.php
If used at the recommended dose Levamisole HCl should not harm shrimp, snails, plants or scaleless fish. Perfect for the treatment of camallanus worms and most other worms and parasites we encounter in Australia. I do a 25% gravel/glass bottom vacuum the following day to remove any dead or paralysed parasites. Repeat treatment a week later if required
The fish generally tolerate treatment well however if they are heavily affected by parasites they may have difficulty expelling the worms.
Do not overdose. Like all medications use at your own risk.
Not for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children and other pets
